Lions 'officially' introduce new uniforms

Left-New Logo | Right-Old Logo

The Lions hinted at a logo change months ago and today they announced them at a press conference. The Logos are not a surprise to most people, as NFL.com leaked merchandise with the new logo on it accidently about a month ago.

I think the new logo is nicer, but would have much rathered them go in a totally different direction. Whether it being color wise, or a just a new logo all together. Afterall, the new logo is basically just a spin off of the old one.

The text has also changed, which looks alot better. Uniforms also got a change, but they look close to last years so it wasn't that big of a change.

Heres to hoping the new logos equal a 16-0 mark for the 09-10 season. Also lets hope it's Aaron Curry wearing one in a few months, and not Matt Stafford. Even Jason Smith would do.

Maybe they can finally turn there franchise around. There fist step though would be to get all the tools they need in this years draft. I like the new logo, hopefully it revived the players, fans, & the city
